Lusting After #52

I feel really bad for slightly abandoning my blog lately! I did plan to do some outfit posts this week but I've come down with the flu and can't face getting out of bed! It's so typical that it comes when I have so many errands to run and things to sort out for my move back to Leeds. I thought I'd spend my spare time putting together my first A/W 13 Lusting After posts as all the new collections are currently hitting the shops and I want so much!

First up, I've never actually worn velvet before but for some reason this dusty pink Topshop t-shirt really appeals to me. I think it would look great paired with some leather trousers and a chunky statement necklace like this Topshop stag necklace. I love the intricate detailing of this necklace, you can't really see it that well in my image but visit the link to have a closer look. I'm also loving this H&M zebra print jumper which is a little out of my comfort zone. Again, I've never worn anything zebra print before but I can imagine this really standing out from the crowd. I would wear it with a pleather mini skirt and a plain bag like this H&M double pouch black shoulder bag.

As the weather isn't quite cold yet, I really like this River Island twisted crop top for general day wear with high-waisted jeans or a skirt. I think this would be a really effective piece when worn and could be dressed up with some statement jewellery and a bright lip. I also really like this Zara sheer long-sleeved top as it would be so useful for layering with chunky cardigans and a pretty bra underneath. It really fits in with the upcoming Punk trend which comes around every A/W season.

For some classic Winter warmers I've picked out this Topshop chunky knit jumper as it just looks so comfy and warm. I love the camel shade of the knit, most of my jumpers tend to be neutral shades as I think they compliment my skin tone better than darker colours do. Every year Zara do amazing Winter coats and I need this black faux fur one in my life! It's fairly expensive at £89.99 but I can imagine it being a great investment and something I would wear nearly every day. I've also got my eye on this River Island faux fur tote handbag and I'm actually really surprised that it's only £45. I don't think I own a River Island handbag as I usually find them to be quite tacky but this looks pretty high quality. I'm definitely not purchasing online though incase the faux fur doesn't meet my expectations!

Lastly, I've been moaning for months about how I want a new watch and this time I've set my heart on this Olivia Burton leather strap beauty. I've tried on a few Olivia Burton watches before and I really like them but always end up swaying back to Michael Kors. They're not too pricey so I might bite the bullet this time and try something new for once. I'm also purchasing these Topshop Newton sandals as we speak. I love the simplicity of the block heel and the crossover straps, they are the perfect shoe for every day wear and could be worn with tights once the weather starts to get cold.

I'm also listing some more items on my ebay page tonight at around 8pm so please keep an eye out for them! You can see all of the items listed here later on once they're up, thanks!
