Lusting After #51

I've been away from my beloved British high street for 2 weeks now so as you can imagine there are lots of things I want! Since Autumn/ Winter is only just round the corner (sorry for the reminder!), I need to stock up on some warm clothes. First up is this Topshop camel cropped jumper which is just a really simple style that will go with so many things. I've always been a big fan of neutral shades so this will slot into my wardrobe quite nicely. I wear my Topshop Mom jeans in the bleach blue shade all the time so this lighter blue shade have also caught my eye. They're actually really flattering on most figures and I wear mine all the time with crop tops, jumpers, vests or even bodies. Speaking of bodies...I also really like this Topshop sweetheart orange body and wish I'd bought it before my holiday! I'm off to Mallorca in a few weeks time so this needs to be in my suitcase when I go!

Out of the blue, River Island have actually become one of my favourite shops at the moment. I love so many things in there that I've featured a fair few items on here. Firstly we have this cropped tiger vest which really caught my eye. I think it would look great paired with the River Island mid-wash denim skirt and some chunky boots. I don't actually own a denim skirt so this would be a first for me! I also love this lime marl jumper dress which would be so easy to wear during the day with a statement necklace and some boots. I'm not sure what the sizing will be like for this so I'm reluctant to purchase it online without trying it on. Lastly from River Island, I need these hologram gold sandals and I'm actually purchasing them as we speak! I love the gladiator sandal style of the shoe and the hologram gold makes them stand out so well. I can't wait to wear these with some pastel skinny jeans when I get home!

I've been wearing sandals and flats for the past 2 weeks so I can't wait to wear some Winter boots soon. I really like these Asos gold plated ankle boots and for £45 they're quite a bargain. I have some similar studded Zara boots but these are much nicer and more pointed. They would go perfectly with this Zara white clutch bag which I've seen in Marbella and I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy it! The bag is actually quite long so I wasn't sure it would be easy to carry on an evening but it does come with a shoulder strap. I'm also lusting after the Sophie Hulme cross body bag in camel, the style and shape is so simple and would make a great every day bag.

I have enough statement necklaces to last me a life time but I've still got my eye on this Topshop chunky black chain one. It's not as colourful or jazzy as most of my necklaces so it would make a great addition to my upcoming Autumn/ Winter wardrobe. I'm also after a new watch as I'm bored of mine and I recently found this Michael Kors tortoise face watch. I find tortoise shell and gold to be a great combination and it would definitely be nice change from my usual rose gold. Now I just need to find a spare £180 and it's mine!

Just a quick one as I'm dashing out for a meal with the family and savouring every last moment I have here! Last night I was extremely tired after a heavy weekend so we had a meal at Hard Rock Café for some serious hangover food. The portions there are absolutely ridiculous so wearing a crop top was not my finest idea! I'm not a huge fan of dipped hem skirts as I find they look better on taller girls but I couldn't help buying this lovely jungle print skirt from H&M. I never wear this shade of baby pink but I think it's nice for holiday and the colour isn't as noticeable due to the print. I love this skirt from the back, the tiger stands out so well against the pastel background and makes a real statement. I've worn it with a plain white crop and little jewellery as I didn't want to draw any attention away from the skirt. I also wore my new-ish River Island white block heels which have been an absolute life saver this holiday. They're extremely comfortable and I can't wait to wear them with my skinny jeans once I'm home too!

Last night we went for dinner at my favourite restaurant in Puerto Banus - Thai Gallery. The food is absolutely amazing and it was the first time my boyfriend was experiencing thai food which was interesting! I've been loving these little Topshop fringe crops at the moment, especially in this bright neon lime shade for the Summer. These crop tops go so well with so many different outfits, I just wish I'd got my hands on the orange shade too! I've worn mine with a sheer maxi skirt and some knicker shorts underneath. This isn't something I would usually wear on a night out in the UK but when you're on holiday pretty much anything goes! I also wore my new Zara necklace which is fast becoming my favourite at the moment. I love the teal and lime colours used within the necklace and it compliments the colour of my crop top. The Zara is quite a bit cheaper down here so I can't wait to get my hands on some of the new collection before I come home!

Laguna Village

Yesterday we visited Laguna Village which is a beach club type place with some restaurants and shops altogether. It's such a lovely setting as it's right on the ocean and definitely the pick me up you need after a night out! I wore this little floral and lace sheer dress which I bought from Forever 21 just before I came away. It's so lightweight and easy to wear which is what I need in the heat and can just be worn over a bikini. I've worn my new rose gold Primark sandals which I bagged in the sale for an amazing £3! They were such a bargain and as they are rose gold they go with pretty much everything I wear. I've also added my Zara neon yellow bag to give the outfit a little pop of colour.

I'm getting a bit bored of my Maybelline false nails now as they've started to fade and chip. I also spied a set which were white with a black outline but they don't strike me as being very suitable for holiday wear! I bought a couple of nail polishes with me so my choices are - Models Own 'Hedonist' (neon coral), OPI 'Don't Pretzel My Button' (sand/nude) or Nails Inc 'Wellington Square' (peach/nude). What do you think?

Yay, finally a look which doesn't include shorts or a crop top! I actually think this is a rather sophisticated look for my style. I don't tend to wear loose fitting dresses, especially on an evening so this is a real turn out for the books! I bought this dress a few months ago whilst I was here in Marbella and this is the first time I've worn it. I love the Summer feel of this dress, the pattern is really simple and it's so floaty and pretty. I've jazzed it up with some statement jewellery such as these amazing River Island earrings. I love the colourful gemstones used in these, they are so extravagant and really stand out. I've also worn my Kurt Geiger studded sandals which have been a strong favourite of mine this Summer. They are surprisingly comfortable considering the number of straps across the foot and they immediately add that little something extra to an outfit.

I'm afraid it's another crop top and shorts combo today guys! For a night out, it's really the only thing I feel like wearing that doesn't make me feel too hot and uncomfortable. I've been wearing these Zara silk shorts in various colours a lot over the past few weeks. They've been so useful for my holiday during both the day and night, plus I think the neon shades create a statement outfit easily. I've worn these neon pink shorts with a River Island tropical print crop top which I bought quite a while ago. They only had a size 6 left so I literally squeezed myself into it! I also bought the matching pencil skirt but I think it's a bit too hot over here to be wearing a long fitted skirt.

I went shopping in Puerto Banus yesterday and picked up these amazing nude wooden heels from a shop called Uterque. I've bought a couple of necklaces from there before and they really do have some lovely accessories. These shoes were in the sale and had been reduced from 90 euros to 60 euros so I couldn't resist! I think the heel is the perfect height for holiday as it's not too high but still gives you that added height which you need. I've also spied these shoes in a white/ cream shade and I'm extremely tempted to pick them up tomorrow! Fingers crossed they have a size 38...

I'm starting to get used to this whole wearing my hair down on holiday thing. I always used to get way too hot but I think I've adapted to the heat since the heatwave in the UK. I never usually wear it completely straight but I was in a rush and didn't get the chance to curl it. Last night we went for a family meal at my parent's favourite restaurant and somehow things still managed to get fairly messy! I bought these Zara silk shorts in the sale yesterday so decided to give them a try. I nearly bought them a few weeks ago but I found other items I preferred. I actually really like the oriental style print and the colours used, the golden bronze colour looks great against a tan (not that I have one yet!). I paired the shorts with a plain white crop top and my River Island white block heels to keep it quite simple.

During my little shopping trip yesterday, I picked up these Maybelline false nails which immediately caught my eye. I love bright shades at the moment so these are right up my street! I've never thought about using coloured or patterned false nails as I always buy the plain ones and paint them myself. They're quite expensive considering you can only use them once but I think they are worth it for an occasion or holiday. I'm not sure if these are available in the UK but keep your eyes peeled!

After nursing a severe hangover for the past 2 days, I'm finally back to normal and able to get off my lounger! Last night we kept it easy and had a lovely meal at this traditional Spanish tapas restaurant in the heart of San Pedro. I'm surprised I even managed to brush my hair to be honest but this is the finished product! I decided to wear this ancient Topshop floral kimono which is literally about 3-4 years old. I've always kept it in my wardrobe as I love the watercolour effect of the print and it looks so pretty on holiday. I wear it on the beach or just over outfits to keep my shoulders warm, it really is so versatile and goes with pretty much everything. I've worn it with a simple mint lace crop top and a plain black curved hem midi skirt. The outfit itself is pretty simple but I think the floral kimono and gemstone necklace really jazz it up.
