I've been spending like a mad person lately trying to get all of my pieces together before I go to Marbella on Saturday. It was a really last minute trip so I've been rushing around picking up every bikini and maxi skirt in sight! I heard the weather is around 25 degrees so I bought these two Zara maxi skirts in coral and teal for during the day time or evenings. They feature a split up the front which I like as it adds a slightly younger touch (and will show off my tan!).
There are so many lovely bikinis around at the moment that I couldn't resist buying a few whilst in Birmingham last weekend. I saw this Primark Neon Lasercut bikini on the Look Magazine website and managed to hunt it down. I love this neon yellow shade at the moment and I can imagine it really complimenting tanned skin. I also picked up this H&M White Bow bikini which I originally saw on a Tumblr page and found one left in my size. I think the white bow detail on the top is so cute and I would actually wear this as a top with a maxi skirt. The same goes for this Topshop Checked bikini which is currently featured on one of their advertisements. I love the colourful shades used within the checks, and again this could be worn as a top during the day with shorts or a skirt.
I was incredibly excited to wake up to this incredible Asos neon jacket this morning which I have wanted for a while. This wasn't for holiday purposes but just a simple jacket that I can wear during the Summer days where it's not so warm. I also purchased this Asos Detachable clutch which I featured in my last 'Lusting After' post. I love the little clutch attached to the front and the colours are right up my street. This Zara Neon Box clutch bag was a bit of an impulse buy as I'm not convinced I will actually be able to fit much in it. I always take everything but the kitchen sink with me on a night out so I don't think this will get much use!
I really wanted the Mango lion necklace which unfortunately sold out, however I found this replica from a UK Ebay seller which is identical and cost £4.99! I wore it out the other night and I loved the Versace-esque effect, this is a definite keeper. I also bought these Topshop buckle sandals just for a simple staple pair of sandals whilst I'm away. They only have a thin strap around the back so hopefully they won't rub too much. My parents went away last week and my lovely mother was kind enough to bring me back this Chanel Mademoiselle perfume. The scent is quite an oriental, floral mix with hints of jasmine and rose. It is very light and perfect for the Summer season.
Lastly, I picked up some lipsticks to add to my every-growing collection. First up are these Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks in Nude Delight and Coral Queen. I came across them in Tanya Burr's April Favourites video and couldn't resist giving them a go. They are really great as the lipstick doesn't dry out your lips but still gives a strong pigmentation. I wore Coral Queen out last night and it stayed on fairly well, I would also consider wearing this in the day as it's quite warm which makes it very wearable. I also bought the Rimmel Super Stay 24 hour bold matte in 'Coral Fire' to layer over the top which I wasn't too impressed with. When it first goes on it's really lovely and bright but after drying it just looks quite dull. Topshop have released their new Lip bullets and I picked up two shades - There She Goes which is a pearly nude tone and Heartbeat which is a strong coral colour. I haven't tried either of these yet as they arrived in the post this morning but I'm looking forward to it!
