I mentioned in my previous post that I am off to Marbella on Saturday, it was a very last minute decision so I've been caught off guard! Usually I plan my Summer holiday wardrobe well in advance but this time I've been running around grabbing everything and anything. I find putting these 'Lusting After' lists together gives me more direction and helps to collect everything together to see what goes with what.
One thing I always lack on holiday is beach cover-ups so this year I have my eye on a few. First up is this Topshop zig zag playsuit which reminds me of the classic Missoni style prints. I love the shades used within the print and it also features a tie detail at the back which is cute. Another is this Topshop embroidered cover-up dress which is fairly simplistic with neon embroidery along the necklace. The neon shades against the white fabric really stand out and would look great worn with these Topshop Fantasy sandals and a large statement necklace. I actually tried on these sandals whilst shopping yesterday and as much as I love love love the style, I fear they may rub my ankles a little too much in the heat.
I have enough maxi skirts to last a life time but I am really drawn towards this River Island Space print maxi which also comes with a matching bandeau top. I would wear this on the beach to cover-up during the day or even on the evening with a simple crop top and sandals. I'm not a fan of the matching top as I think it looks a little too much so I would choose a black or white plain style crop. I also love this River Island lime layered crop top, the colour will look lovely against tanned skin and could be worn with a plain maxi skirt or high-waisted shorts.
Bikinis have been the most important thing on my agenda and H&M never fail to let me down in that department. I've searched high and low for this H&M Apricot structured bikini but it seems to have sold out in my size online and is nowhere to be seen in any stores. Sometimes H&M do tend to feature items online before they come into the shops so maybe I will have to sit tight for a while for this one.
Lastly, I've gone a little clutch bag crazy lately and I've got my eye set on so many more. I saw this Accessorize Polka dot clutch featured in Millie Mackintosh's style diary which I guess is why it's sold out everywhere! I'm not surprised but I reckon they may get more in stock due to such popular demand. In the mean time, I've ordered this Asos nude and pink clutch which features a really cute detachable clutch on the front. This really reminds me of the Mulberry 'Willow' style handbags which are waaaay out of my price range so this one will have to do for now!
