I really wanted to bite the bullet and bare my legs with this outfit today but I don't think it's quite warm enough yet. This afternoon was beautiful but the mornings can always be a little rainy and windy. I bought this blouse ages ago and for some reason it's just stayed in the back my wardrobe. I do really love it but I think the short sleeves put me off in the cold weather. I'm a big fan of colour blocking and the neutral shades allow it to be worn with so many different items. I paired it with this monochrome polka dot skirt I purchased the other week. Skater skirts are so useful on days when I'm feeling a little bloated and don't want to bare all in a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. It also adds a girly touch to the boxy shape of the blouse.

My roots are coming through really dark at the moment which is driving me nuts. My natural hair colour is that awful dishwater browny blonde shade so I've been dyeing it from a young age. I had ombré hair for a while so I got out of the habit of visiting the hair dressers every two months or so. I recently had my hair highlighted quite blonde and I've only just realised how much maintenance it's going to be! I think I may have some thin biscuit/ caramel highlights put through the top next time I go just to make it easier to manage (and save money!).
