At last, I have finally got round to dressing myself up and doing an outfit post! I've been home for over a week now and have just really been taking advantage of chilling around the house and catching up with my family. I was doing about 3-4 outfit posts a week whilst I was living in London so it was nice to have a little break and bulk up my wardrobe in the mean time!

My favourite colour at the moment is this bright neon lime shade, I absolutely love it and can't get enough of wearing it during the day and nights out. I bought this Zara jumper the other day after consistently wearing my neon pink version. I love the boxy shape and the lightweight fabric, it's so easy to wear with a pair of jeans and really stands out. I paired it with my pastel pink Joni jeans which had their first outing yesterday. I've been really scared of getting them dirty with the bad weather so waited for a nice sunny day to wear them. As you may have guessed, I love the Joni jeans shape but I have mentioned before that I am a little disappointed with the fit after washing. Lots of the elastic pieces have started to hang out my black pair and they have really lost their tight fit, not happy!

I've gone a little jewellery mad at the moment and had a bit of a spree in H&M as they have so many nice pieces at the moment. I bought 2 packs of these gold stacking rings in two sizes (small and medium) so I can stack them up on different fingers and create various looks. I love how the rings are a variation of shiny and matte gold and they look so effective paired with other rings. I also wore them with my YSL Arty replica ring which I purchased off ebay. I love these rings to death and they have been so much better than spending £180 on the real thing. Sometimes I can justify spending a lot of money on real designer goods, but not really on two statement rings that I will probably only wear for a short amount of time.

I'm afraid it's another 'Today I Bought' post yet again! I haven't really dressed up much as I've been at home relaxing so I haven't done many outfit posts for the time being. It's actually really nice to just shove on a pair of jeans with a jumper and not think too much about styling. I plan to have a much busier week next week so hopefully I will get round to posting some soon.

I am ashamed to admit that I did actually purchase all of these items in one day (eek!). I had a major shopping trip to the Bullring yesterday and ended up buying a lot more than I should have. I'm going out this weekend so I was desperately on the hunt for a new outfit or four! I ended up buying a couple of pencil skirts and crop tops which I can switch around to see which combination I like the best. My favourite is the beige knitted American Apparel crop top with the neon lime skirt. I love the two colours paired together, the beige really brings out the brightness of the neon. I also really like the ribbed texture of the skirt and it helps to suck you in more! I plan to wear this outfit with a large statement necklace, my nude Kurt Geiger 'Games' wedges and a pink lip.

I'm off to Marbella this Summer once again and possibly during May Bank Holiday so the bikini shopping has begun. I had some stuff to return to Primark and ended up exchanging them for this bright lime kaftan and floral bikini. I'm not sure if I will really wear the kaftan but I'm a big fan of this colour at the moment and thought it would look nice with a tan. The floral bikini is really lovely and fits perfectly, the gathering on the top reminds me a lot of the bikinis in H&M at the moment. I bit the bullet and also bought my first ever white bikini, fingers crossed it doesn't go see-through! I love the rose gold zip detailing and the textured fabric is a really nice touch.

I'm a huge fan of Zara handbags so picked up an excessive amount whilst shopping in there yesterday. I chose these two envelope style clutches for nights out, purely because they are simplistic and will go with pretty much everything. I also picked up this kind of boxy/ bowling shoulder bag which I've seen in there before in different colour ways but loved this brown, white and black version. I'll use this as a simple day bag during the Summer months as it's fairly small and easy to carry around. The envelope style shoulder bag is a pretty similar colour way but features a neon lime zip which really caught my eye. This is a much flatter satchel shape so gives a more casual look for during the day.

The last bits and bobs are some cheap pieces of jewellery I picked up whilst mooching around H&M, a couple of YSL Arty ring lookalikes which I found on Ebay and my favourite perfume/ fake tan. I love the H&M stacking rings and actually bought them in a few different sizes so I can wear them on different fingers. I was after a real YSL Arty ring but didn't fancy dishing out £180 so found these cheaper alternatives via ebay. They are obviously not as good as the real thing but they will do for now!

Lots of new purchases to share with you that I've accumulated over the past few weeks! I've already featured a couple of these items in my outfit posts but thought I would include them anyway. I mentioned recently how much I am loving Topshop's Spring/ Summer collections and have purchased a fair few items from there. First up is this gorgeous nude peplum jacket which is the perfect Spring jacket, really easy to wear and flattering on the figure. I wore it in a recent outfit post over a smart blouse with jeans but this could really be worn in so many ways. I also bought this pink pastel knitted vest which I also have in mint green. I love the simplicity of this top and the pastel shades are adorable. I tend to pair this with a pair of high-waisted jeans or a little skater skirt. You also many have noticed my new obsession with the Joni jeans which I have now bought in 3 colours - black, pale pink and vintage blue. I love the high-waisted shape and the fabric is stretchy so they are extra comfortable. I have been living in these over the past few weeks and have no intention of taking them off anytime soon!

I've bought a few dresses recently including this tunic style dress from the H&M Icons Collection which is currently in stores. This is the dress modelled by Daphne in the advertisements and it took a while to hunt down as I guess it's been quite popular. I really like the embroidery across the necklace and the simple loose fitting shape will be great when the weather warms up. I also bought this cold-shoulder Savannah Motel Rocks dress which had sold out on Asos so I purchased it from the actually website. It was 25% off which was a bonus so I think it came out to around £28 but don't quote me on that. Again, I love the simple shape and think I will wear this on Saturday night with a statement necklace, bright lip and chunky heels.

Shoes have always been my weakness and over the past few weeks my obsession has only got worse. First up are these white leather platform trainers which I featured in my last outfit post. I love the chunky heel and they are really fitting with the current sports luxe trend for this season. I also bit the bullet and purchased my first pair of Nike Air Max in this gorgeous hot punch pink/ orange shade. They are extremely bright in person but I lot a bit of neon during the Summer. I also bought these studded Kurt Geiger sandals which are more for holiday wear but I guess when the weather brightens up they will be nice with a pair of jeans.

Lastly, I bought these statement necklaces by H&M which are fairly simplistic compared to my usual choice of necklace but will be handy for layering up. I also bought the new John Frieda Luxurious Volume shampoo and conditioner in the hope of giving my fine locks some va-va-voom and stocked up on the good old fake tan! I also get asked quite frequently which false nails I used so for those asking, I tend to use Kiss nails which are available from Boots. I usually buy the 'short square' style but I fancied a change and went for the oval shape which I may file down into a bit more of a point.

Checks and Charms

checked shirt: topshop
striped crop: topshop
leggings: american apparel
shoes: asos
charm necklace: topshop
belt: french connection (sample sale)
watch: michael kors
lips: sleek 'barely there'

I mentioned in my last outfit post that I was finishing my internship with Styloko in London and moving back home for the time being until I find a part-time job to keep me busy. I have my flat until July so it seems like a bit of a waste to come home for good. It's incredibly difficult to find any form of job in London but I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I miss it already!

Today I just popped up to my local shopping centre to pick up some essentials such as toiletries and make-up. I was absolutely dying to wear my new platform trainers from Asos which arrived in the post on Friday. I saw a similar pair in Topshop but I really wasn't fond of the canvas fabric so chose these leather ones instead. I love the chunky platform heel and they really fit in with the current sports luxe trend for this season. I have paired them with a sheer striped crop top and my high-wasited lycra leggings. I used to wear these all the time, but since my new obsession with Joni jeans they have taken a backseat. I have to say, I washed my black Joni jeans for the first time on Friday and all of the elastic threads seem to be hanging out. Has anyone else experienced this? I really want to exchange them for a new pair but not sure if I have kept the receipt. I'm really gutted because I love them so much and hope this doesn't happen with my blue and pink pair.

After removing my false nails last week, I noticed just how dry and damaged my nails were. Therefore, this week I'm giving them a little breather and hopefully this will help them to regain some strength. I hate how my nails look without falsies or a polish but they are in desperate need of a break. I purchased the Nails Inc repair kit for Dry and Damaged nails so this should also help to rejuvenate them. Does anyone have any other good nail repair recommendations?

Minty Fresh

top: topshop
jeans: topshop
shoes: topshop
necklace: topshop
bracelet: marc by marc jacobs
watch: michael kors
lips: rimmel apocalips 'apocalyptic'
nails: topshop 'chase'

I've done it again...my entire outfit is purchased from Topshop! At the moment, I really can't help it as I'm loving their new Spring/ Summer additions so much. From pretty pastels and embellishments to sports luxe and statement necklaces, they really do have it all. Plus the fact I work right by the Oxford Street flagship store which is very hard to walk past and not be tempted. One of my favourite pieces in Topshop at the moment are these adorable cropped knit vests which are available in mint green, baby pink and white. I own both the mint green and baby pink as they are so easy to throw on with high-waisted jeans or a skater skirt. I paired mine with some high-waisted acid wash Jamie jeans and a large statement necklace.

I visited the mid-season sales during this week and found these nude perforated sandals which are also available in black. I very nearly purchased them a few weeks back but couldn't justify the £70 price tag. They were reduced to £35 in the sale and had one pair left in my size so I like to think it was fate. I ended up buying a few new bits and bobs in the sale so an upcoming 'Today I bought' post is very much in need!

I'd also like to welcome my new followers that have joined my blog over the past few weeks. It really does mean a lot that people are actually reading my blog, I remember the days when I had zero followers and felt like I was talking to myself! I try to blog most days and have really enjoyed featuring new posts and entering some competitions, but there is still a lot more to come. I'm always asked to do make-up posts and possibly some videos so these will hopefully be coming soon.

Now Trending: White Now

tailored blazer: topshop
high neck cami: topshop
gold zip bikini: h&m
tailored trousers: river island
mesh midi skirt: river island
necklace: topshop
slingback heels: h&m
scalloped edge shorts: topshop
shopper handbag: zara
blouse: reiss

An abundance of white graced the runway shows for Spring/ Summer 2013 and this trend can be seen trickling into the shops at the moment. The 'all white' trend has got to be one of my favourites at the moment and slowly but surely I can see myself biting the bullet. For me, a true fake tan fanatic, white clothing can be an absolute disaster. I recently purchased a white coat by Zara and the entire neckline is now tainted with orange. One thing's for sure, if I do embrace this trend the dry cleaners will become my new best friends!

There are so many different ways to wear the all white look and I have picked out a few of my favourite white pieces currently available on the highstreet. White crisp tailoring is a great way to create a chic and sophisticated look with great elegance. I love this tailored blazer by Topshop, the simplicity and minimalistic style would be great paired with a sheer panel white blouse and matching white tailored trousers. I picked out these tailored trousers by River Island, purely because they feature rose gold hardware which looks gorgeous against the white fabric.

White is an obvious colour choice for holiday wear, there is no better colour to compliment a lovely dark tan. I have never owned a white bikini as I'm always scared of it going see-through in the water! However, this bikini by H&M would be my first choice. I love the gold zip feature at the centre of the bandeau top and the sides of the bottoms. The elasticated gathering also gives some added texture rather than just a plain white bikini which can often be quite hard to pull off.

I actually bought this high neck white top by Topshop a while ago and wear it all the time with casual jeans or leggings. However, for the holiday season you could take the all white trend head on by pairing it with cute scalloped edge shorts and white slingback heels. I do think the white does need breaking up sometimes so a great way to do this is by adding a white piece of jewellery with crystal embellishments or a bright clutch bag. I would also add a splash of colour by using a bright colour on the lip such as a pillar box red, hot pink or neon coral.
