Before we start, can I just state that all of these things were not purchased today! Since I was ill, I haven't had the chance to post all of my new items so these have been collected over the past 3 weeks. With Spring fast approaching and all of the new collections hitting the shops, I've been on quite the frenzy lately and definitely need to slow down!
I visited the Oxford Street store to view the new Rihanna for River Island collection and see what all the hype was about. Overall, I wasn't that impressed but did pick up this bright lime vest which featured in my previous outfit post, and a maxi skirt with a zip split which will be nice to wear when it's warmer. I could actually wear it with tights underneath and my new Topshop boots but since the weather is -1 at the moment, a skirt just seems too daring!
Zara is probably my all time favourite shop, which I mostly try to avoid as everytime I go in there I can't help but purchase something. Recently, I have bought this gorgeous white jacket which I've been lusting after over the past few weeks. It's a great transistion from my black contrast leather sleeve Zara jacket as it is more suitable for Spring and I can't wait to create some outfits with it. I also bought 'that skirt' which I've featured in a previous outfit post and a monochrome white leather dress for an upcoming 21st party.
In terms of accessories, holographic items are eveeerywhere at the moment and I managed to get my hands on the much sought after H&M clutch. I will probably only really use this on nights out or during the Summer, but I love the copper tone and the simple shape. I have also purchased another statement necklace (addict, I know!) but couldn't resist this absolute treasure. I love the chunky neon chain against the black woven fabric and large crystals, can't wait to wear this with a simple midi dress and chunky midi heels. Roll on Summer!
