Since the weather has been so brutally cold lately, I've been concentrated more on layering up than bringing out my new Spring pieces. For this reason, I haven't done many outfit posts lately as I've just been wearing big knitted jumpers and jeans. Yesterday, things began to warm up so I decided to create some thinner layers with my outfit. I paired this black 'Blair Waldorf' style top (which I've actually worn as a dress before!) with a neon lime blouse underneath to create a brighter look. Neons have been a massive hit this season and I love the way the sleeves pop out against the black. The top isn't quite long enough to wear as a dress anymore after too many washes so I had to wear my usual AA lycra leggings underneath. These ended up being a God-send as it was still pretty chilly outside!
I recently purchased Barry M Gelly Polish in 'Lychee' after raving so much about 'Prickly Pear'. I really love the creamy nude shade of the polish, many nudes can be too pink for my liking but this is just perfect. I may create an accent nail or attempt some contrasting tips at some point but at the moment I'm back in bed feeling sorry for myself again!
I've also entered my blog into the Company Style Blogger Awards 2013 for the first time. I thought it was about time I gave my blog some more recognition as I do put so much hard work and effort into creating my posts. If you would be so kind to nominate my blog under the 'Personal Style' category I would be so grateful, it really does mean a lot to me! I have included the link in the side bar of my blog but you can also nominate me by clicking the link below, thank you!
