I've finally found a new hair style after months of sticking to the same high ponytail. Don't get me wrong, I love the high ponytail look but since I have so much hair I like to experiment with it. I've adopted this sort of 'cone' shaped bun which I thought looked a bit daft at first but now I really like it. I'd love to post a Youtube video of how to create it but I don't think I've quite built up the confidence yet! A short version is: tie your hair into a ponytail, backcomb the ponytail and smooth using a bristle brush, wrap the ponytail around itself into a bun shape and pin into place. I'd also advise lots of hairspray and product to keep it set into place all day.

Onto my outfit...I featured this jumper on my blog a few months ago and for some reason it has just crept to the back of my wardrobe. I don't know why because I love the spike detailing across the neckline and the monochrome knit. I paired it with my new Jamie jeans which are similar to my Leigh ones but have a lighter acid wash shade. They are extremely comfortable and more suitable for the Spring season which is fast approaching!

I gave into the usual blogger hype and purchased a couple of the new Rimmel Apocalips once I saw them on a 3 for 2 offer. I was immediately drawn to using this Stellar shade which is a really bright pink colour that definitely stands out in a crowd. I was actually really impressed with the product, the colour glides onto the lip really well and gives a full colour coverage in just one stroke. I've also purchased 'Lunar' and 'Apocaliptic' so I'll be giving these a try over the next few days.

I'm going to apologise in advance for my blog being rather quiet over the weekend and upcoming week. I'm turning 21 on Monday so this weekend is my big celebration with all my family and friends coming down to London for a meal and a night out which is really exciting. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready enough to turn 21 yet but I guess I don't have a choice in the matter! Then next week I'm off somewhere for a big surprise which I can't mention just yet but once I'm back I will fill you all in!
