This post is slightly overdue as it was my birthday over a week ago now but better late than never ey! I just thought I'd share some of the wonderful presents I was lucky enough to receive from my lovely friends and family. Rather than my parents buying me something I would end up taking back, I was allowed to choose a handbag and some other little bits and bobs. I ended up picking the Givenchy Antigona as I love the simplistic style, it will always be a classic item within my wardrobe and the nude shade means I will get lots of use out of it. I also picked these glitter Miu Miu sunglasses which I've had my eyes on for ages. I tend to only really suit cat eye shaped sunnies as I have quite a round face shape and the glitter frames look really lovely glistening in the sunshine.
The headphones seem like a pretty good investment as I'm forever losing my Apple ones and needed some that were more sturdy. We all know how much I love rose gold so these were right up my street. My lovely boyfriend and friends bought me some Marc by Marc Jacobs jewellery which I've wanted for a while now. My favourite piece has to be the nude leather wrap around bracelet with the rose gold chain. I've been wearing it everyday since, it's quite a simple and casual piece so tends to go with everything I wear.
I've been convincing myself that I'm going to start running around Clapham Common on the weekend so purchased these amazing Nike trainers to tempt me into it. However, so far I have only worn them to ride a camel! I also bought these chunky flatform style sandals which I took to Marrakech with me for the nights. I'm not very good in big heels and tend to moan/ fall over a lot so these are definitely more alcohol friendly. I intended to get some use out of these Topshop studded sandals too but I forgot to bring plasters and I was scared they were rub so didn't bother. Looks like they will be staying cosy in my wardrobe till the Summer holidays approach, hurry up!
