There's nothing better to wake up to than a big fat Topshop delivery bag sat on your doorstep! I ordered some pieces from the Sale on Boxing Day, they have taken a while to arrive but it was all worth the wait. One of the items I bought was this white worn away Topshop Boutique jumper which I'd seen so many times in store but couldn't justify the £60. I think I paid £30 for it in the sale which is still fairly steep for a jumper but I really like the distressed patch effect and I'll wear it a lot during the Winter months. I paired it with these checked leggings which I've worn a few times over the past few weeks. They're handy for matching with a plain oversized top or jumper and I love the velvet checked effect. I saw a girl wearing these on a night out with an AA polo crop which looked cool but don't think I've quite worked off my Christmas dinner enough for that yet!
I was lucky enough to get a Ciaté mini mani advent calendar and this 'Cookie and Creams' shade was sat behind door number 19. I'm a big fan of neutral tones on this nail so this suits me perfectly. I wanted to add a little bit of glitz so added a top coat of Models Own 'Ibiza Mix' on my ring finger. I'd usually go for a plain gold or silver glitter but my NYE dress was navy sequin so this matched perfectly.
I hope everyone had a great New Year, I definitely had a little too much fun at my friend's 21st but it was all worth it. I'm not really one for New Year's resolutions as mine always seem to go down the pan by about January 8th! However, this year I really want to do well with all my internships and continue to build on my blog so those can be my aims rather than the usual eat less and join the gym!
