I made the huge mistake of going to watch The Impossible at the cinema last night and forgot to take a lifetime supply of tissues with me, so emotional! I'm not usually one for sad films but natural disaster type films really interest me for some reason. I was treated to a lovely dinner at Balans in Kensington afterwards so decided to get a little dressed up for my date night. I bought this striped crop top yesterday whilst mooching around. My 'mooching' always turns into 'spending' but mooching makes it sound more innocent! I love the lycra stretch fabric and how the stripes are slightly sheer in places. I thought this may have been quite unflattering on my arms as horizontal stripes can often be, but this was surprisingly flattering. I paired it with my leather-look skater skirt and a nude studded waist belt to break things up a bit.
I mentioned in my previous post that I had been incredibly naughty and purchased some new Jeffrey Campbell boots and here they are! The 'Lopez' boot - black leather with rose gold stud detailing across the front of the foot and a solid chunky heel. I have never loved a shoe so much in my life. Granted, they are slightly too high to wear in the day but I will definitely be using them for dinners and special events. They have practically sold out online and in every Office shop across the country so I was pretty lucky to snap these bad boys up, must be fate!
I have been lucky enough to receive some gorgeous Jacava nail polishes in three different shades. I was pretty spoilt for choice on which one to use first but decided on this lovely deep berry 'Damson Delight' shade. I will be posting a review of the nail polish at some point tomorrow so keep an eye out.

The impossible is the saddest thing I have seen, it made me donate most of my wages to charity though! So humbling. This is the nicest I have seen you and those boots are fierce!
