I got sunshine

dress: topshop
shoes: kurt geiger
necklace: topshop
elephant bracelet: marbella market

Our internet has decided to momentarily refuse to work for Macbooks so I am using my dad's mini Samsung laptop which is the slowest device ever! I haven't been taking any outfit photos during the day as most of my days have been spent lazing around the pool in a bikini and that's not something anybody wants to see! We went out in Puerto Banus last night and I wore this aztec bodycon dress which I bought as few months ago in the Petite section but I'm pretty surill have the dress in stock. I saw Michelle Keegan wearing this dress and loved the use of colours and the bold print. I don't usually wear bodycon dresses because they are so hard to pull off but I think printed ones are more flattering don't highligh every part of your body. I have another similar aztec printed bodycon dress which I might wear during the next few days.

I paired the dress with my beautiful bargain KG shoes which I think were meant to wear with this dress! The turquoise block heel compliments the use of turquoise within the actec print along with the geometric detailing across the front of the foot. I found these really comfortable to wear but I'm just so scared of drunkenly ruining them as this seems to be a major habit of mine! I finished 50 Shades of Grey within 3 days and now I'm reading the second one, they are so addictive! The only problem I have is I find the Ana character really annoying, does anyone else agree?

Bird of paradise

dress: topshop boutique
belt: ebay
wedges: zara
bracelets: topshop
ring: topshop
nails: topshop 'mannequin' and models own 'ibiza mix'
lips: mac 'creme d'nude'

I'm finally here! 22 days of paradise with nothing to do but relax in the sunshine and concentrate on a cracking tan! I hope I'm not rubbing it in too much as I hear the weather back home is pretty awful...so I'm definitely going to make the most of this holiday. I wasn't 100% sure I would be able to blog over here but luckily my Macbook connects to the internet at our villa and is probably quicker than our connection at home! Last night was our first night out in Puerto Banus so I wore this lightweight silk printed dress which I scavenged in the sales before I flew out. It was originally priced at £68 and was reduced to £40 so it was a great bargain as I'd had my eye on the dress for a while. I love the watercolour floral print and the use of fluorescent and dark colours which really compliment a tanned skin.

I'm always slightly dubious about wearing new heels on a night out so end up wearing the same pair all the time but I must admit these were totally comfortable and caused me no hassle. Wedges are always a safe option, especially for nights out abroad, and I love the simple gold metallic silhouette as we all know how much I love my gold! I'm spending the day in the sunshine recovering from last night, there's nothing better than floating around on a lilo and tucking into a good book to soothe a sore head. I'm currently reading 50 Shades Of Grey which just about every woman in the country is delving into! It's an interest book to say the least...anyone reading it as well at the moment?

Today I bought #34

geometric print dress: topshop (£30)
top: topshop (sale reduced from £26 - £15)
silk print dress: topshop (sale reduced from £68 - £40)
tie-dye t-shirt: forever 21 (sale reduced from £12 - £5.99)
necklace: topshop (sale reduced from £15 - £7.50)
metallic wedges: topshop (sale reduced from £65 - £30)
block heels: kurt geiger (sale reduced from £185 - £89)

I have never jumped out of bed so quickly this morning when I read my emails and saw one from Topshop saying 'sale sale sale!'. As anyone who reads my blog regularly knows I am a Topshop addict so this was an absolute dream. I scavenged through the rails for over an hour and managed to find some really good bargains. I firstly picked up this silk printed Boutique dress which I loved ages ago but wasn't convinced by the high price tag. I really want to wear it tonight with my Moschino waist belt and black JCs but the weather is not on my side. I also found this gold 'cobweb' style vest which is slightly longer at the back and could be worn as a dress with a nude bandeau underneath or leggings during the day. I tried on this monochrome geometric print dress a few weeks ago but the length was too awkward, this is the petite version which is slightly shorter so fits much better. I'm a big fan of these triangle/ geometric statement necklaces at the moment so at half price this was an absolute steal. To top it off I found these metallic wedges which I almost bought the other day and now I'm so glad I didn't, love it when that happens!

After my victorious spree in Topshop I wasn't really bothered about any other shops but I did find this casual tie-dye t-shirt in the Forever 21 sale which will be nice for the beach. I know full well that I don't need to buy another pair of shoes for about the next 5 years but when I saw these beauties in the sale at less than half the original price, who could say no? I actually featured these in a 'Lusting after' post months ago but couldn't justify the £185 price tag. They only had one pair left and they were in my size so I'll blame it on fate, these babies are definitely being taken away with me! I'm off out tonight to see everyone before I set off on my travels, I'm leaning towards wearing the gold 'cobweb' style vest over a nude bandeau now I've mentioned it, what do you reckon?

High for this

shirt: urban outfitters
skirt: primark
bracelets: topshop
rings: topshop

Just a quick casual one today, never too sure what to wear when the weather is decent here because it can turn so quickly and then you feel like a right idiot dressed all Summery! This is the third cropped denim shirt to add to my ever growing collection, in my defence they are all different shades of denim and they don't really go out of fashion. I also resort to this maxi skirt when the weather is hot, it's so easy to throw on and the loose fit makes it cool to wear (and hides my pale legs when I haven't fake tanned!). They do a grey version as well but I recently bought one from River Island which features an asymmetrical hemline which I am yet to wear.

I mentioned before that I'm off to Marbella on Sunday for three weeks, counting down the hours! I always feel like I haven't bought enough things to wear which sounds ridiculous considering the amount of clothing I own. To be honest, I haven't seen much holiday wear around the shops that I'm really keen on at the moment. I'm popping to Boots tomorrow to get some last minute suncream/ dry shampoo and other necessities but will no doubt end up finding clothes knowing me...

Dream team

top: monki
leggings: topshop
shoes: jeffrey campbell @ office
bag: chanel
spike bracelets: topshop
ring: topshop
necklace: topshop
nails: essie 'sand tropez' and maybelline express finish glitter topcoat

Apologies for slightly abandoning my blog lately, I've been ridiculously busy sorting everything out for my holiday and catching up with friends before I leave on Sunday. Still can't believe in 6 days time I'll be sunning myself in Marbella and having the time of my life! I went out last night with a few friends for some drinks which turned into a more eventful night than expected. I decided to take a slight risk and wear this low backless top which I taped myself into with many plasters to ensure there were no wardrobe malfunctions during the night! I paired it with these galaxy leggings which I've never worn before even though I've had them for months on end. I love the galaxy pattern and the colours used but the cotton fabric is quite thin so I don't feel like they really do much for me but they were alright for last night. Looking at the photos I've just realised that they match the colour of my hair which is always a bonus!

I'm really loving neutral nail polishes at the moment, I tend to stay away from bright colours on the nails anyway because they can clash with certain outfits. Lately I have purchased this Essie 'Sand Tropez' shade and H&M 'Nerd' which have quickly become my two new favourites. I decided to use an iridescent glitter coat on top to make them slightly more interesting but you can't really tell in the photos due to the lighting. I am absolutely shattered and have had practically no sleep so I am spending my evening watching the football, even though I understand nothing about the game, and having a well deserved rest! Well not exactly 'well deserved' because this is all self-inflicted but you know what I mean!

Today I bought #33

cover up: topshop
denim shirt: urban outfitters
necklace: topshop
tan maximizer: lancaster @ selfridges
boots: topshop 'adonis'

Another cheeky little holiday shop before I'm off on my travels next week! Can't believe how quickly it has come around, seems like yesterday I was booking the flights and counting down from 80 days! I featured this midi cover up dress on a previous 'Lusting after' post and found it at the back of the rail in Topshop today. I love anything nude/ peach plus it has a really interesting cut which is really hard to capture on the hanger. I also bought this denim shirt to add to my growing collection, it was in the sale reduced from £35 to £15 so was an offer I couldn't refuse! I've also been after a spiky necklace and this Topshop one fits the bill, I was looking for one that wasn't too over the top so could be worn with many outfits and I love the dip-dyed ends of the spikes.

As I have mentioned I am off on holiday next week and will do anything to make my tan last longer. I have read some really good reviews about this Lancaster Tan Maximizer which supposedly stimulates the melanin production in your skin by 50%- 80% and also ideal for reducing peeling. It was priced at £22 which I don't think is too bad for a high-end product and hopefully it will do the job. I've been after these Adonis boots for a few months and nearly died today when I found them in the store after they had been taken off the website last night. I had a right polava, the only size 6 left was on a mannequin so had to wait ages whilst they got permission to take them off so it was obviously meant to be!

Today I bought #32

playsuit: topshop
dress: topshop
bralet: h&m
denim jacket: american apparel
shorts: zara
shoes: zara
bag: zara
nail polish: essie 'sand tropez' and opi 'in my back pocket'
primer: laura mercier mattifying secret finish
eyeshadow palette: chanel 'mystic eyes'
highlighter: mac 'lightscapade'
bronzer: bobbi brown 'bali brown'

Obviously I did not buy this all today, I'm bad but I'm not that bad! These are a few recent purchases over the past week or so from Marbella and London. Whilst I was away I bought quite a few things from Zara because the prices over there are slightly cheaper and they tend to have better stock. I've been wanting one of these bags for a while but I'm so fussy about gold detailing so once I found this nude/ gold version I was sold. This will definitely come in useful when travelling and on the beach, I'm not a light traveller so this will be used when I fly back out on the 24th. I also bought these gold wedges which are slightly 'out there' but will be perfect for matching with lightweight dresses or playsuits on nights out whilst I'm away. I'm not too sure about these shorts, I love the bright colours and gold stud detailing but the fit isn't quite right so these are possibly being returned on Wednesday.

Whilst I was in London the other day I picked up this playsuit from the large store on Oxford Street, I love the colourful palm tree print and the corset style fit (even though it meant I had to breathe in all of Saturday night!). I also bought this colourful floral bralet which is part of the 'For Water' collection currently featured in store. I'm a big fan of crop tops/ bralets because I think they are flattering if you have a small waist but larger hips like me.

I was in desperate need of some new make-up because I accidentally put my favourite palettes in the bin whilst cleaning out my uni room! Luckily my house mate rescued them for me once I'd got home and realised. To substitute my loss I bought this Chanel Mystic Eyes eyeshadow palette which contains pretty neutral tones and shades of brown which are the colours I usually stick to. I also bought Mac Lightscapade which is a brilliant highlighter and Bobbi Brown Bali Brown which is probably the best bronzer I have ever used, I highly recommend both of these products!

Rude boy

t-shirt: boy london @ selfridges
leggings: american apparel
shoes: office
ring: topshop
earrings: topshop
nails: 17 'mellow yellow'
lips' topshop 'all about me'

I'm definitely suffering from the post-holiday blues, even a shopping trip to London yesterday didn't kill my bad mood! It doesn't help that it hasn't stopped raining since I landed which has ruined any form of social plans. Today isn't too bad, I spent my morning in the gym and had a quick sun bed so all in all it has been a very sweaty morning! This is the outfit which I wore shopping a few days ago, I've been uploading my Marbella outfit posts so everything is a bit jumbled up at the moment. I bought this t-shirt a few weeks ago, it only comes in one size so it is quite large on me considering I'm so short. I paired it with these charcoal lycra leggings which come in really handy with black tops as the two colours compliment each other quite well.

I always find that when I wear black and grey I like to add a pop of colour with my nails or lips, this time I have opted for both. I wore this nail varnish a few months ago and although it's quite 'garish' I like it for the Summer and it doesn't really clash with anything I wear as I tend to sway away from yellow. I'm addicted to this bright fuchsia lipstick from Topshop, it's pretty much a dupe for Mac 'Girl About Town' and stays on really well throughout the day. I'm gonna try and finish my book today which I started on holiday, 'The Hunger Games', which I bet pretty much everyone has read. I really want to see the film but need to finish the book first otherwise it will ruin it. Has anyone read the book and seen the film and can say if the film does the book any justice?

Marbella #4

dress: topshop
sandals: river island
necklace: asos
lips: mac 'salute!'

This is the last of my Marbella outfit posts and possibly my favourite. I bought this tie-dye dress just before I went away, the colours are perfect for the Summer season and a basic t-shirt dress always comes in handy for day or beach wear. I could only find this in a size 6 in the petite section and thought it would be too tight but it actually measures up quite big. I'm not sure if they have started selling it in other sizes yet but I'll keep my eye out. I paired it with this gold collar necklace which is getting pretty old now, the metal has started to fade and scratch a little but it was only a cheapy one so I'm not that surprised.

I went down to London today with my mother, she had an appointment so I spent the day mooching around Oxford Street and met up with an old family friend which was lovely. I did make a couple of purchases but I'm thinking about returning a couple. I was not in the mood for trying on because I was wearing a really difficult outfit so most things I picked up I don't actually like now I've tried them on, typical! I'm also thinking about ordering these Adonis boots from Topshop, what do you think?
