Firstly, I'd just like to state not all of these items were purchased today but over the last week or so, before I get any people ranting about how much I spend in a day! I'd also like to apologise for the lack on consistency in my blog lately, last week I was really ill and this week I've had to come home for personal reasons so there will be no outfit posts till next week. Anyway... onto the actual post!
My momma had some left over M&S vouchers which needed to be used before Christmas so I picked up this drop back sheer top just to pair with leggings/ jeans on an easy day, this monochrome fluffy jumper and pastel tartan scarf. I'm actually taking the jumper back today because I was looking for the baggy effect but the style is too fitted. I also picked up these nail polishes in a nude shade and a dark bronze glitter shade. I'm a sucker for anything nude or sparkly so these immediately caught my eye. I've never tried Autograph nail polishes before but I'll be sure to let you know how they are.
The new Boux Avenue store has just opened nearby my house so I picked up this beautiful lace bra to add to my growing collection. I never used to bother buying new underwear but now I love buying matching sets and it makes you feel so much better! The slippers are just a cute replacement for my tartan slipper socks whilst I'm at home, Primark slippers are officially the best ever.
Dolce & Gabbana 'L'Impératrice' perfume has always been my favourite scent and I will never stop repurchasing it. I must have bought about 15 bottles over the years, I've tried other perfumes like Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs but always seem to come back to this. I can only describe the scent as really sweet and fruity but in a non-sickly way. If you haven't tried it, get on it! Absolutely divine. I also picked up the Benefit 'They're Real' mascara as I've heard rave reviews and my YSL 'Shocking' always dries out so quickly. The Mac blusher in 'Style' is a really pinky/peach shade which I picked up at Westfield on the weekend. It looks great blended into the apple of the cheeks and creates the perfect rosy look for the Winter season. For my foundation, I picked up this Real Techniques expert face brush, I already use the stippler brush but this looks like it will blend my foundation better and not leave such a shiny residue.
If there's any products out of this haul that I can recommend it would be these two skin products I picked up. Firstly, we have the Ren Radiance Perfecting Serum' which has done my skin the world of good. I use it underneath my moisturiser at night and not only is the smell divine but it's also helped to remove any blemishes, soften my skin and make the pigmentation more even across my face. The Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning is the perfect cream for creating a soft glow to prevent my skin from looking so washed out. I use this at night between 2-3 times a week and it's given my skin a really lovely colour which isn't too overpowering and lasts well. Wow, just realised how long this post is but hope you enjoy!
