Such a busy day in the design studio, I've never been happier to finally jump into bed with a big bowl of porridge. I love my internship but it really does take all my energy travelling on the tubes so much and running errands all the time. I bought this t-shirt on the weekend and was instantly drawn towards the print as soon as I saw it. I'm a big fan of graphic/ bold prints especially for during Winter and I love an over-sized t-shirt with rolled up sleeves to create that boyfriend style. This jewelled print has inspired me so much to create a design project based around the idea of natural gemstones and crystals. I was thinking about designing a collection for French Connection Autumn/ Winter '13 so now I'm definitely gonna crack on with it. I paired the t-shirt with my charcoal AA leggings which don't often get chosen over my classic black AA leggings but I thought they complimented the tones used within the print.

As much as I love this dark plum nail polish, it is really old and so keeps smudging every time I use it as the polish has become so gloopy. I'm gonna search for a replacement shade this weekend as I really like these dark festive colours at the moment. I'm all tucked up in bed and considering starting to watch Homeland before I hit the pillow, I've heard the series is amazing so if anyone can confirm this I may give it a try!
