nail polish: maybellish express finish & models own utopia
extreme dipped hem top: topshop
I mentioned in yesterday's post that I had popped to the Bullring for some 'project research' but I think every fashion student will understand how hard it is to resist purchasing whilst doing this! I didn't go crazy anyway...it was the end of the month so my bank account was pretty much dry. I bought a couple of new nail polishes to end to my ever-growing collection. I've been after Models Own Utopia for months and they have always sold out. I re-painted my nails last night with a double coat of this and the Maybelline Express Finish on top and I really like the outcome, hopefully I will take some outfit posts tomorrow and you can see. I also stocked up on earrings as I always wear my Urban Outfitter gold crosses and they are getting pretty battered now. I love turquoise jewellery but they always seem to be used on silver metal which I'm not a big fan of. I love the swirly texture of these large crosses and they will be perfect for the Summer holidays. I didn't try on the dipped hem top until I got home and the fabric is quite sheer so I may consider returning this if I can't find anything that goes well with it. The colour is actually a really light lavender shade but it's hard to capture on camera properly.
Lastly I picked up these white flatform sneakers which I randomly thought were really cool. I love the thick flatform combined with the Converse sneaker style trainer, I'm hoping they will make my legs look slightly longer! I managed to finish off all of my design projects today so I'm going to spend my evening sat in bed with a movie marathon - the perfect way to celebrate.
