Now, wouldn't that be sweet?

dress: topshop boutique
blouse: gerard darel
necklace: primark
earrings: urban outfitters
shoes: river island

The vintage tea party was so adorable, really pretty decorations and lovely little fairy cakes which I probably scoffed way too many of. I didn't exactly dress 'vintage', but to be honest I've always been guilty of not conforming to dress codes! The weather was amazing today which was a complete bonus and made the day even better. I decided to wear this dress from Topshop Boutique which is mega old and I think is meant to be a top but I'm short so it doesn't matter. It's quite easy to just throw on and has a fishtail draped piece at the back which you can't really see in the photos but makes it abit more than just a plain black dress. I also wore this python printed blouse which I actually found in my mom's wardrobe, I'm always wearing large sheer blouses and this one is really lightweight and soft so I'm a fan.

I wore my usual aztec ring and large turquoise one so didn't bother taking any photos of them plus my nails are getting abit gross now, I think it's cause I used such a light pink varnish that it looks grubby really easily. I also wore this feather necklace which cost about £2 but has been so useful during the summer just to add a little touch to a simplistic outfit. Obviously my chelsea boots came out again, I really need to stop wearing the same shoes over and over but they're just so comfy and go with everything.

After having my extensions out I was finally able to use my Umberto Giannini Salt Spray just to give my hair that tousled effect and I have to say it really did work. It made my hair quite crispy and dry but gave it that beach texture which is what I was after. I also sprayed some on my clip-in extensions and it worked on them too so then I just added some loose waves with my curling tongs, all in all it was a success!
