Want Her Wardrobe

So you've probably realised I've very unintentionally abandoned my blog lately :(! I've been super busy setting up my online boutique Want Her Wardrobe (www.wantherwardrobe.com) which you can visit now by clicking the link! It's all been incredibly hectic and I've literally dedicated all of my time to it so unfortunately my blog has had to take a back seat. I do intend to try and keep it going so don't worry!

If you haven't seen my website already, it launched on Monday and mainly specialises in evening outfits such as bandage dresses, crop tops, skirts and two pieces so if you need something hot for an upcoming night out you need to take a look. I'm actually wearing one of the Orelia maxi cardigans in this post which is available in white, black and navy blue for £16.99. They feature a sheer back which you can't actually see in this post, you can see much better photos on the website! They're perfect for layering over a dress for a more casual look or even just wearing day to day like I am here.

If you would be so lovely as to have a look at my new website, I would very much appreciate it! We also have a Twitter account up and running which is @WHWFashion and an Instagram account which is @wantherwardrobe so take a look!

I've been ridiculously busy lately setting up my new online boutique Want Her Wardrobe so my blog has taken a minor back seat. I love blogging and try my best to keep up to date with it but taking photos and typing everything up is very time-consuming now I'm not a student! I'm intending to launch my online boutique during the end of August after I'm back from Marbella, or the start of September at the very latest so keep an eye out!

I've seriously jumped on the maxi coat bandwagon and purchased myself this beautiful Topshop duster jacket last week. It was the last one they had in store and it's completely sold out online so I just had to! I think the maxi shapes are going to be a huge trend for this upcoming season and I can't wait for more styles to hit the high street. I'm slightly scared about wearing this outside as it's so white and can only be washed at the dry cleaners so I'm being very over-protective with it at the moment.

I've also decided to give my nails a week long break just to give them a bit of air and build a bit of strength into them. My nails have always been like paper - with or without falsies but a bit of a breather can do them good. I've decided to use a Sally Hansen nail polish as I find them really thick and shiny so create a great base if you need some strength building into your nails. I've also used a Nails Inc drying topcoat which dries the nails within 30 seconds and adds a really nice shiny finish.

Lace Kimono

crop top: topshop
jeans: asos
sandals: river island
handbag: givenchy
necklace: asos
bracelet: marc by marc jacobs

ring: marc by marc jacobs
nails: essie 'blanc'
lips: bobbi brown 'salmon'

I'm still uploading some of my outfits from Manchester as I had a little time off blogging just to settle myself in back at home and concentrate on my business. I had a few sample pieces arrive yesterday and many more are due to come which is really exciting! I'm also attempting to make some pieces myself so investing in a sewing machine is my next priority...

I bought this River Island lace kimono on a bit of a whim a few weeks ago. I'm not really into the whole kimono trend but this struck me more as a lightweight sheer jacket. I love the midi/ maxi jacket trend at the moment so this is a great Summer essential item to throw over your shoulders. I've worn it with a plain Topshop cropped tee and my all time favourite Asos Ridley ripped jeans which I've featured on here many times before! These are the slightly smaller ripped pair which I bought a few months ago and I think they still have them in stock. I also have the extreme ripped pair which are great for making a statement but not so much for work!

I'm absolutely loving my new blog layout thanks to the lovely Sarah from Trisarahtops Smiles who did a fantastic job at giving my blog a makeover! It was much needed after 4 years of blogging and I have to admit I haven't got a clue about all that HTML stuff! I've been incredibly busy working towards my new online boutique Want Her Wardrobe which will hopefully be launching end of August this year so keep your eyes peeled. If you're not already, get following on Twitter @WHWFashion and Instagram @wantherwardrobe for updates and sneak previews!

I bought this top in the Zara sale a few weeks ago whilst I was still living in Manchester. I'd contemplated buying it a few months before but it wasn't a necessity. Since it was pretty cheap in the sale I picked it up and now I wear it all the time. It goes so well with my Topshop Jamie ripped jeans and the fabric is so lightweight so it's easy to wear on warm days. I also purchased this Zara handbag in the sale and I was soooo in love with it! Unfortunately, the bright pink suede lining actually dyed everything in my bag and even my nails so I had to return it. I was really gutted about this as I love the colour and can't find another bag similar. Has anyone else ever had this problem with Zara handbags?!

Floral Smock

dress: asos
shoes: river island

So a lot has changed since I last posted on here! I was working for a company called Own The Runway as a designer/ buyer in Manchester but that wasn't exactly working out for me so I've moved back home. I'm actually setting up my own online fashion website called Want Her Wardrobe which is really exciting and will hopefully be launching within the next couple of months so keep your eyes peeled! In the mean time you can follow the Twitter account @WHWFashion and the Instagram account @wantherwardrobe for many updates and photos!

This is one of the outfits I wore to work the other week before leaving Manchester and it's probably the most Summery outfit I've worn this year! I bought this dress last Summer to wear to the Burberry Prorsum fashion show but I also wear it through the Winter months too with a fur gilet and thick black tights. I like the subtle hints of neon lime within the print, it brights up the dress and adds a little Summer touch. I also really like the smock dress style as they're ultra casual and so easy to wear on bloated days!

I'm also wearing my new Mac lipstick 'Fast Play' which is past of the amplified collection so has a very bold and opaque colour. The shade has a more pink that brown tone and achieves that sort of 'not wearing any lipstick look' a la Kylie Jenner. It's the perfect shade I've been trying to hunt for and it stays on the lips immaculately, definitely a must-have!

Kylie

 cardigan: zara (old)
top: asos
shorts: topshop
boots: topshop
handbag: givenchy
necklace: river island
watch: michael kors
ring: marc by marc jacobs
nails: orly 'ablaze'
lips: mac 'faux'

The weather has been ridiculously muggy lately so on Friday I actually went to work wearing shorts, never thought that would happen! I'm not usually a fan of shorts but these Topshop high-waisted crochet shorts are the perfect addition to my Summer wardrobe. They're great for adding texture and detail to an outfit as well as giving off a very festival style vibe. I've worn it with my favourite Asos modal vest which is always a staple item within my wardrobe. I love the high neck shape and the nude skin tone shade makes it easy to wear with pretty much anything. I've also channeled the Kylie Jenner look through adding this maxi length cardigan on top. I'm absolutely loving her style at the moment and need some more maxi cardigans/ jackets in my life!

Lile Tropical

So, I didn't realise that all of my blog post photos are actually uploading pixelated?! My new Macbook Pro makes all my photos look pixelated because the screen is such high quality but I didn't think my photos actually were! Anyway, I've been using a different format to upload them this time so hopefully they look slightly better? If you could let me know that would be great!

A few weeks ago I purchased this Missguided Lile Tropical peplum cami top which has apparently sold out now so I'm really sorry if you can't get hold of it anymore! I absolutely love the print of this top, it really reminds me of the Topshop Aloha jeans which I tried to get hold of but they also sold out too. I wouldn't usually wear something so pretty and girly but this top is perfect for Summer and really suitable for the warmer weather. I've worn it with my favourite Asos cropped trousers which I practically live in. I even bought a second pair just in case they sold out any time soon!

I bought this River Island wooden heels last weekend after trying to hunt them down for the past month or so. I was looking for some Summer heels which could be worn during the day/ evening and also on holiday so wasn't looking for a majorly high heel. These fit the bill perfectly but unfortunately they have rubbed the top of my feet so bad! I've lost the receipt so can't return them but they may be uploaded onto my Depop within a few weeks time once I'm back home from Manchester.
